Personal Album // Title Page
A whole album about me? Sure, why not. One of my goals for this year is to complete an album devoted to my thoughts, hobbies, and projects. I fell in love with a 9x12 album from A Beautiful Mess (on sale!) and that was that. For the title page of the album I included a picture of myself, which I will try to do for most spreads. As the family photographer, I've noticed days go by without a picture that includes me. Quick side note: the ColorStory app from A Beautiful Mess has the most amazing black and white filters I've come across. My usual go-to for iPhone photo edits is VSCO, but ColorStory trumps their BW filters, any day.
I also included a few other photos, punched with a 1" circle punch. The cards are all Studio Calico (linked below). The dreams & goals card is cut down from a 4x6, as was the speckle pattern. I love that pattern. I used the remainder for a few small embellishments. The rubber happy piece was a leftover from the Paislee Press December Daily kit (sold out). The top left speech bubble is made of transparency and is also from a Studio Calico add-on kit. I trimmed it slightly to fit the pocket at the angle I wanted. And voila! Pretty simple layout. I'd actually love to hear what you include in your personal albums? What you're reading? Eating? Listening to? Self care? I have a lot of pages to fill, and I'm not sure I'm that interesting ;)
